The Monster Zero Newsletter Mid Summer 2012!

To quote the Fresh Prince: “Summer summer summer time!” Goomba is lounging in the south of France, and there's no way in hell he's gonna write newsletters the whole flippin' time. Swimming, watching the tour

and eating baguettes with mustard takes a lot of time. Besides, all the bands on the Monster Zero label hail from Europe, and people here actually get some time of in the summer to celebrate life. But since Monster Zero is 'happening', here's some news to get you through the days.

MURDERBURGERS USA TOUR WITH DEAR LANDLORD!

Seems like all our friends are getting famous! Monster Zero recording artist The Murderburgers from Scotland (paaaaal) are about to embark on a huge USA tour with No Idea band Dear Landlord. Can we get a hallelujah? From July 26th to August 25th they boys will be all over the USA and they even hit Canaduh for some party pleasure! Check out the dates in the show section. And while you're at it, pit up a copy of their record, so you can sing along. By the way, their split with The Gamits is now out on All In Vinyl Records.

MONSTER ZERO MASH 2012 (14/15 DEC, PMK, INNSBRUCK, A)

Fuck it, we'll do it again, for the sake of last years fun! The Monster Zero Mash 2012 (the 6th edition!) will take place at the legendary PMK club in Innsbruck, Austria. Bands confirmed so far: Murderburgers, Priceduifkes, Maladroit, Ponches, Bat Bites, DeeCracks, Ponches and Teenage Bubblegums. If Goomba is correct, the cheap airlines should be flying to Innsbruck at this time. So book your flights, tell your friends and prepare for poppunk OD!

NEW RICCOBELLIS FULL-LENGTH IN THE MAKING!

Great news from Italia! The ramoniacs from Brescia, The Riccobellis, have announced that they will be recording a new full-length very soon! And if all that wasn't enough, they will also be recording songs

for a split with Norwegian powerpop Gods The Yum Yums. Goomba for one is excited, and Koopa Troopa is singing the 'Erection Song'.

REMZ DI MAGGIO AND CINDY TERROR MADE A BABY!

Yup, you've read right! Monster Zero would like to congratulate French poppunk icon Remz of Los Di Maggios and his lovely Belgian girlfriend Cindy Terror with the birth of their daughter Line Louise Audureau.

HOTLINES 'CAN'T STOP PARTYING'!

The Hotlines have recorded 2 new tracks for their compilation release, 'Can't Stop Partying' which will be released by Lost Youth Records at the Summer In October festival on October 6th. As well as the new songs it will feature B-sides, covers, out of press and unreleased tracks from 2007-2012. Merel Bat Bite is doing the artwork! Jordi Ostir is een Limburger.
